The Era of White Guilt is Over!

Check your privilege out these racists:

Progressives Today and EAGnews recently sent an investigative reporting crew to the White Privilege Conference in Madison, Wisconsin on March 26-29, 2014. In attendance were 2,400 teachers, administrators and students from public schools throughout the U.S.

The conference dealt mostly with racial issues, but not in any sort of constructive manner. These folks preach that American society is inherently designed to benefit a small group of wealthy white elites. It’s almost as if they’re describing the United States at the turn of the 20th century, when black Americans were truly shut out of the system.

They ignore all the progress that’s been made in recent decades, to guarantee civil rights and create more economic opportunities for minorities.

Their answer when reminded that many black people (and members of other minority groups) have done very well within America’s free enterprise system?

“So there’s certainly a lot of Jews who, not a lot but there are some Jews who have been successful and assimilated up there. And of course some African-Americans. We can think of Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell, people like that.

“So it’s a Christian culture and Christian framework, and some people can make it if they live like the white Christian men who are running things.”

What about the fact that an African-American has been elected President of the United States two terms in a row?

“The master’s house has a black face, but it’s still the master’s house. (Obama) works for the master of the system of white privilege.”

We have to wonder what President Obama would make of that statement.

Them honkies is wiggity wiggity whack.

    Stop it, you’re making my head hurt.

    Also, one of the ‘mom’s (I apologise for going brain dead) commented that my side-eyes at SF writer John C Wright were perhaps unfair. Well, here is the man in his own words, from his blog:

    “You see, I often make statements which a sensitive soul, either of the Right or Left, might find too harsh or too imprudent, and my language is archaic, direct, and unrefined, for I use legal or Biblical terminology like ‘sodomy’ or ‘unnatural acts’ to refer to the sexual acts arising from same sex attraction. I hold that wives must submit to their husbands and women should not speak in Church, and I am doubtful if the experiment of offering the votes for women has produced the promised benefits.”

    Thus my side-eyes. It drives me crazy when folk often speak enormous boatloads of sense, and then they come out with this stuff. I guess it only goes to prove your stance — no party, only principle. Everyone gets rated on a case by case basis. But it’s this kind of nonsense that does such damage, and makes listening to anything sensible they have to say that much more tricky.

      There are a lot of people out there who suffer from subject-matter insanity. They seem perfectly normal and reasonable until certain subjects come up, then they take a sharp turn into Lunatic Fringeland. (That turn can be left or right)

        Unfortunately, those people’s field of insanity seems to be getting wider and wider lately. Like, it’s not just religion, or the ladies, or abortion, or global warming anymore: it’s EVERYTHING. Perhaps it’s the impending midterm elections. I saw a Facebook post today (albeit from a “friend” who has always irritated the crap out of me) that hit pretty much every entry on my Obamaloonie Buzzword Bingo card within the space of approximately 50 words.

    3 people put on leave at VA. good what is being done to our vets is a disgrace.

    can someone tell me why nothing gets done until the scandals are made public? Is there no one in DC that has any class or morals?

      I suspect a lot of it, is “shit rolls” down hill. A Veterans group will complain to their Congress people about long clinic waits; the Congress man/woman staffers will call VA bureaucrats who will send out a “new” policy to mandate less than two week waiting time. VA pay isn’t good enough to have adequate quality staffing so policy is impossible. So people get “creative”.
