U14 NEWS
Great start to the year for our U14s panel & mentors Sheila , Aine , Derry & Johnny as they secured a comfortable win over Watergrasshill today at Watergrasshill on a bitterly cold day , well done from all in Inch Rovers …

Report by Sheila Dennehy Scanlon
Our u14’s were out today playing 1th league game of season in Watergrasshill against Watergrasshill. It was a very cold and blustery day. We had 19 players out and all buzzing to play. We started really strong and our girls played some great football. All 6 forwards scored from play and all not afraid to take on there own scores at any stage. Watergrasshill had a few great players but unfortunately unlucky with getting  scores. At half time we were lead very comfortable with the  score line of inchrvrs 3-9 to Watergrasshill 1 pt.

We changed around alot of girls and played them  in all different positions to give ourselves options going forward in league matches ahead, we were dominating throughout  all positions on the field in the 2nd half. It just wasn’t Watergrasshills day today and it’s was the red & white of inchrvrs to win out very comfortably.

On behalf of management would like to thank all girls for a brilliant display of football and girls Megan & Sarah who rushed away from camoige trials to get to our match. Speedy recovery to Sarah who got injured@ the camoige. Also Caoifhion Barry who was away over night and rushed back today to make the 2nd half. Well done to all and it’s a fantastic start to our league campaign. Next league game is fixed for Monday Vs Glanmire on  the 20th of feb under lights in killeagh @7. Kind rdgs from management Sheila, Aine, Derry & Johnny.
