Copper Rock Coffee Company Wins 2012 Downtown Renovation Award

The 2012 Downtown Renovation Award is presented to a business that has invested in the physical appearance of the building they call home in our downtown neighborhood.

This year’s winner is being recognized for not only the improvements to the building they occupy but for the dynamic impact their expansion and daily storefront activity brings to downtown.

Copper Rock Coffee Company started in downtown Appleton and as the owner states is the heart of their operation. With three locations and 55 employees Copper Rock has seen steady growth in its almost 10 year existence. While the façade of the building hasn’t changed much their recent 3000 sq ft expansion in the downtown has brought new meeting room space, a new product line and a new aroma to College Avenue. That sounds odd I know but those of you who walk past this popular downtown gathering place know what I’m talking about! When the beans are roasting the coffee cups are toasting! Copper Rock’s new expansion also hosts regular live music and will eventually feature an art gallery. There is no doubt that the long hours the owners and staff have invested have paid off and all of us downtown benefit!

Appleton Downtown Inc. is delighted to award the Downtown Renovation and Expansion award to Copper Rock Coffee Company!
