The Gift that Keeps on Giving….

We don’t do a huge shopping extravaganza, for our extended families, for Christmas.  Most of our family functions include maybe a $5 gift grab, but there are a few immediate family members that we buy gifts for each year.  And, as we wrack our brains year after year, as to what in the world they could need or want, we just kept thinking, there has got to be a better way to go about this.

And then, THIS came in the mail…

  Perfect!

Here are some of the things in the catalog:

You can feed a hungry baby for a week for a mere $9…

For $15 or under, you can….

Purchase life-saving mosquito nets for a child’s bed.  Or feed a child for a few weeks. Help a needy family by purchasing chickens for them, or a months worth of milk for $16.

For $35 you can purchase food staples such as rice, corn, beans and cooking oil, to feed people around the world in their time of need…

We plan to have our children sit down with us, go through the catalog, and help pick out gifts for the people on our list.

Samaritan’s Purse sends us cards to give out, (or they will send a card to the person on your behalf) explaining the purchase made in their honor.

Now that, is a gift of eternal value, and the perfect answer for the person on your list, who seems to want for nothing!

Go to  Samaritans Purse online, interactive catalog, and check it out!  You won’t be sorry.

Psalm 113:7   “He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap.”
