These are values that I treasure and do my best to live out, personally and professionally.
Equity, Justice, and Liberation – I believe that all people have equal worth and that I need to work to create systems of antiracism and liberation.
Interdependence, Solidarity, and Collaboration – I believe in “we over me,” that we are stronger together, and that “whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”
Evidence and Lived Expertise – I believe that empirical data and research are vital to decision making, and the experience of people closest to issues is particularly relevant.
Action and Words – I believe that what I profess is important, but ultimately my actions and work should speak for themselves.
