Testimonials

  • ‘It was our pleasure to be the first guests at Rosie’s Wintersell Feasts inaugural evening. We
were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday and the evening could not have felt more special.
Rosie is a delightful host, as are her parents who welcomed us to explore their lovely
gardens and even tended to a firepit, that we sat by at the end of a faultless evening of
    excellent food and jovial conversation.
We enjoyed canapés on arrival while we took a tour of the garden, then sat down to a
delightful meal of Grilled peaches with burrata, Asparagus salad (freshly harvested from
their vegetable garden), Za’atar spiced chicken with sides of saffron roasted peppers &
labneh, charred peas & harissa spiced potatoes. Desserts were divine Pear tarte tatin &
After Eight chocolate pots. All dishes expertly prepared and presented, with each of us
having particular favourites including the roasted peppers/tomatoes & labneh, and the pear
tart tatin, which was declared by one guest ‘the best tart tatin I’ve ever eaten’, with delicious vanilla custard. The garden room is a lovely space with
wonderful views and the table beautifully laid. Each dish was perfectly timed for a relaxed
paced meal, with time left to enjoy coffees round the fire at the end. We will be talking
about the whole experience for years to come.
Could not recommend Wintersell Feasts and Rosie’s cookery and hosting skills enough. Book
your slot now before they are all taken!’

  • ‘Rosie looked after the 6 of us so well. We had mouth-watering canapes to start the evening, followed by a wonderful main course dish of cod and then a choice of 2 superb desserts. Not only was the food delicious, but Rosie’s attention to detail with garnish and presentation, made the whole evening extra special. We would definitely recommend Rosie to all our friends and family and will certainly be booking her again’.

  • ‘In her time with us, Rosie was an impeccable employee and a great asset to the team. Her work was always to the highest standards in terms of taste and presentation. She also proved to be a key team player and has a wonderful personality that shines through, always positive even during the most demanding times in the kitchen’.
