Adult Groups

Christian Men’s Fellowship
On the third Tuesday of each month, the men of Central Christian Church gather to pray, share a meal, teach and learn, support and fellowship with one another so that they may be better prepared to support the ministries of Central Christian Church.

Christian Women’s Fellowship
This group provides opportunities to Disciple women for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries which enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ. Central Christian has several circles (inner groups of CWF) which meet on a monthly basis. They also organize fundraising events for the community which supports several annual charity donations. 

Challenger Class
Our Challengers class meets Sunday morning at 9:00am before the Worship service for Bible study. Though this group is primarily geared towards older adults, any age is welcome and all are sure to find this Bible study to be spiritually nourishing.

Book Studies & Educational Classes
Central Christian Church regularly has book studies as part of Adult education. Book studies vary in topic, some of the recent books have been God vs. Gay, which was a book studied during Pride month, as well as the Light of the World, which was a book studied for Advent.

Ask Class – Adult Sunday School
The Ask Class is a progressive adult Sunday school that meets each Sunday before worship. This class asks engaging and critical questions about faith, scripture, and culture.

Youngerish Adults Group
We know “Youngerish” isn’t actually a word. But, we didn’t know how to really define this group otherwise. This group is made up of people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, and anyone who feels “youngerish.” This group meets on the first Sunday of the month, and does anything from going to Lou City Soccer Games or hanging out at a local restaurant or brewery. If you feel “youngerish” and want a group for fun, fellowship, and great community, then this is your group!
