Pool Fencing
Under the 2004 Building act, all residential pools; portable or fixed, preexisting or new, are now subject to new requirements. The swimming pools act contains several requirements for your pool fence or safety barrier but, in general, they must be at least 1.2m high and enclose the immediate pool area, accompanied by a pool gate with the latch at least 1.5m above ground level and featuring self-closing hinges.
A frameless glass pool fence is the perfect fencing solution, the very nature of frameless glass provides an unobstructed view of the mountains and surrounding landscape while complying with all requirements to attain building consent, but most importantly keep those dearest to you safe. Our toughened safety glass lets you open up your pool area, whilst providing a secure barrier or fence around your swimming pool. Pool surrounds will typically be base fixed, and stub posts can also provide extra water drain off around the pool.
