Learn with Latina Writing Mentors.

All workshops are facilitated by Latinas, classroom teachers, college students, and community artists who volunteer their time and talent to support our writers. Mentors write, draw, and share alongside the girls and draw on their expertise to facilitate and develop activities.

Guest authors and presenters also join the space and share their knowledge and writing or creative process.

Todos los talleres son facilitados por latinas qu son mentoras de aula, estudiantes universitarias y artists de la comunidad que ofrecen su tiempo y talento como voluntarios para apoyar a nuestros escritores. Los mentoras de escritura escriben dibujan y comparten junto con las niñas y aprovechan su propia experiences para facilitar desarrollar actividades.

Autores invitados y presentadores también se unen al espacio y comparten sus conocimientos y su escritura o proceso creativo.

Writers develop their writing using tools like art and theatre to speak their truths, define themselves, and amplify their voices.

Celebrate your culture.

Latinx voices (like authors, artists, etc.), history, culture, and traditions are shared and celebrated in the space. Girls create artwork that examines and critiques how they express and define themselves.

All workshops are facilitated in Spanish and English. Girls are empowered to speak, write, and share in their preferred language without question.
