University College Dublin-Programme of Events
On Wednesday 1st April 2015, the Minister of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys launched University College Dublin’s Programme of Events entitled “Decade of Centuries 1912-1923 Events Timeline.” This programme of 25 events will include a conference providing a global context for the events of 1916. University College Dublin is a major holder of archives of National and International significance relating to the period 1912-1923.

A leaflet which gives details of the printed and digital resources available to study in the UCD Library for the events of 1916.
Signatories
A theatre piece as part of the UCD Decade of Centenaries in which eight Irish writers present the Seven Signatories along with nurse Elizabeth O’Farrell in a series of monologues bringing the audience into their innermost thoughts. It was directed by Tony award winning director Patrick Mason. The play was held in Kilmainham Gaol on 22nd, 23rd and 24th April 2016. Further performances were held in the Pavillion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire on 26th and 27th April 2016, in the Civic Theatre, Tallaght 3rd and 4th May 2016 and in the National Concert Hall on 5th May 2016.

Trinity College-Programme of Events
On Wednesday 2nd December 2015, the Minister of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys launched Trinity College Dublin’s Programme of Events for the 1916 Easter Rising Centenary in the Long Room of the old library. The programme explores the 1916 Easter Rising from a variety of perspectives and includes lectures, tours, online courses, debates, readings, plays, films, conferences and exhibitions.

NUI Galway-Programme of Events
On Friday 2nd October 2015, the Minister of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Heather Humphreys launched NUI Galway’s Programme of Events “A Nation Rising” Commemorating 1916 and Beyond. The university will mark the Centenary year with a host of exhibitions, conferences, publications and seminars both in Irish and English.
A University in War and Revolution 1913-1919
A small poster in English and Irish for an exhibition held in the Hardiman Research Building from April to November 2016. This exhibition explores University Galway’s role in the events of 1913-1919 and offers a glimpse into the lives of many individuals from the university caught up in the historic events of the era.
Before 1916-Visions of Ireland To Come
A 4-page programme for a conference held on Friday 4th November 2016 at the Hardiman Research Building. This conference explores Visions of Ireland before the 1916 Rising as expressed by five voices of the New Ireland selected by the writer Robert Lynd in “Ireland a Nation” {1920}: Pádraig Pearse, Alice Stopford Green, George Russell, Tom Kettle and Dora Sigerson.

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology-Programme of Events
On Monday 7th March 2016, the President of GMIT Fergal Barry launched the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology Programme of Events entitled “Remembering Reflecting & Reimagining” in the college. This programme of 50 events extends to all the campuses in Galway and Mayo and ranges from public lectures and seminars to musical and cultural performances, scholarships and bursaries, a hurling match, interfaith service, tribute dinner, 1916 artefact and memorabilia exhibition and field trips.
