the east coast bias

I am a sports fan with an interest in numbers writing under the nom de plume Pico Dulce, living in Chicago, keeping track of St. John’s basketball, New York Mets baseball, the Jets and Giants, and all the other teams that catch my eye– the underdogs and the stylish playmakers. I also keep my eyes on policy and economic issues, especially as they pertain to sport.

I used to post at Athletes in Action. And I am a founding member of the Church of Bracketology, who will start podcasts this fall.

I deeper more into sports in my dirty 30’s than I was in my teens, such is life!
