Simmesport Christmas Parade
2019 Simmesport Christmas on the River
The Simmesport Christmas on the River was a success. The Grand Marshall for the parade was town attorney Kirk LaCour. We would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in the festivities. A special thank you goes to the Town Workers who helped prepare for the event and the RISE organization who sponsored the events in Ehrhardt Park. RISE coordinated church groups to provide music and made available ornaments for kids and adults to customize and place on the tree. The entire event was a wonderful celebration of community togetherness and gathering to celebrate the spirit of the season.
