Ecotourism and Travel

I’m a passionate traveler 🌎  I’ve been traveling and exploring the world for more than 5 years now and I decided to make a specialization out of this passion.

I can translate tourist guides, brochures, hotel descriptions, travel blogs, websites, emails, newsletter, social media content (such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts), and more.

I specialize in Ecotourism: I help organizations promote a way of traveling that instead of harming the local communities, supports them and allows them develop a new, sustainable approach to tourism.

I work with organizations that organize volunteer experiences abroad, in both humanitarian and environmental activities: sustainability is an important part of my life and I want to help NGOs and companies promoting slow travel and local communities.

I use SEO daily and always choose the perfect Tone of Voice for each client: I know how to adapt the content to the Italian audience, respecting the original message and values. 100% satisfied clients: read a few testimonials here!

Case studies

  • I translated the audio description guide for blind people of the Saint Paul’s Cathedral, London (EN>IT). This project was more than a simple translation: it is part of the European project AdLab. I had to study the adaptation techniques that improve the experience of visiting a monument for people who can’t see. This means using the language in a different way, searching for more images and virtual visits in order to understand exactly how to reach the different elements of the Cathedral. Culture needs to be accessible to everyone and I really enjoyed participating in this project
  • Another project I loved is my last one: the translation of the website of the Citadelle de Sisteron, the Citadel of the French village where I currently live. I translated the entire website from French to Italian. The association that takes care of this historical monument is rebuilding the website and they will soon publish it with its brand-new multilingual version: I am proud to say that the Italian one will be my translation!

More:

  • I work for a national tourism agency. I adapt their new campaign, transcreating slogans, ads, and press releases from English to Italian.
  • I also work for a few brands in the hospitality industry, such as private hotels and hostels, transcreating their websites, brochures, marketing content, and more documents.
  • I translate every kind of content related to Ecotourism. I help NGOs promoting local communities and sustainable initiatives that respect both the people and the planet.

Successivamente, sarĂ  usata come caserma e infine come prigione.
