Sited in Satterthwaite school grounds, it was created with the school children. The two wooden animals form a gateway arch. This was clearly seen from the southern road into Grizedale, which passed right by the school. Last listed on the 1997/8 map it was then removed completely. In the background of the photo above you can see The Fort by Donald Rankin which was also in the school grounds.
