Autumn at Lavendell

We completed our harvest late January but we are still getting occasional flower spikes to add to our rubbed dried lavender stocks. The next major task is pruning the lavender bushes before they rest until next summer’s flowering.

Propagation of new plants is looking encouraging, and making products is ongoing.

Elsewhere in the garden, summer vegetables have done their bit and autumn / winter varieties are being planted. Sadly the plums and blueberries are finished for the season – pruning those is about to happen.
