The Lucas County Court of Common Pleas Judge (Seat 4) is elected every six years and presides over the county’s trial court. Their responsibilities include hearing criminal felony cases and hearing civil cases involving controversy over amounts more than $15,000.

Like all judicial offices, the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas Judge race is non-partisan. This means that even though a candidate may be endorsed and supported by a political party, the party name will not be stated on the ballot.
