The CSC Staff keeps general office hours during the WIU semester on Monday’s from noon – 4:00pm and Tuesday – Thursday from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Avery LeJeune – Director
Avery joined the CSC staff in May of 2016. His responsibilities include overseeing the CSC staff, alumni and partner connections, service team, intercultural ministry team, missions team, praise and worship team, and preaching and teaching. Avery graduated from WIU in 2013 with a degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies. One month after graduation Avery married his long-time fiancé, Sarah Ziegler. Sarah is also an alumnus of WIU with a degree in the field of Agricultural Business. Both were student members of the ministry while at WIU. In 2021, they welcomed a son named Ambrose into the world.

Josie Mullens – Campus Minister
Josie joined the CSC staff in the summer of 2024. Her responsibilities include overseeing the women’s ministry, the missions team, and the events team. Josie graduated from Lincoln Christian University with an associates degree in Bible in 2022 and from Johnson University with a bachelors degree in Family Studies in 2023. She is passionate about learning and growing towards Christ alongside others.

John Miller – Campus Minister
John joined the CSC staff in the Fall of 2024. He is responsible for overseeing the housing program at CSC, men’s ministry team, promotion team, prayer team, along with weekly preaching and teaching. John was involved at CSC during his undergraduate studies at WIU from 2018-2021, serving on student leadership. John met his wife Ashlynn while serving at a youth camp in southern Missouri in the summer of 2020 and they married in October 2021. John’s passions include theology, hammocking on sunny 70 degree days, and fixing toilets.
