Air Manipulation – The ability to control air.  Air Manipulation is also known as Aerokinesis, Airbending, Air Control, Air Element Control, Anemokinesis, Atmosphere Control, Atmospheric Gas Manipulation, Fūton, Spirarekinesis, Wind Control, Wind Manipulation, and Wind Release.

Literary Critique of Air Manipulation 

This is a power with a very old lineage.  The wind is a primordial force that in the form of hurricanes and tornados can do incredible damage.  Interestingly this very destructive force is not necessarily associated with evil!  Aeolus (son of Hippotes)  is the God of Wind in Greek and Roman mythology.  Many other civilizations also had wind gods.

Aeolus is the god and father of the winds. He is the ruler of Aeolia, north of present-day Sicily. He is son of Hippotes and Melanpipe ( The Greek God Aeolus ). Aeolus’s sons became the north, south, east, and west winds ( Aeolus ). He is associated with horses, birds, air, and wind (Pixi).

The Red Tornado (DC) was an android that could create tornados through scientific means.
