I have always been a photography enthusiast. I loved seeing my parent’s B&W photos and used to take photos with my father’s Leica camera which, as a very nostalgic person, I keep in my studio until this day. When I was 18 I received my first camera. My father also indulged me with a tripod and 2 filters that I could attach to the lens. One created a flare effect and the other had a gradient “sunset” color…It might seem really funny for the smartphone generation, that once you needed a special filter to get a flare effect…
Photography for me became a way of living; not a day goes by without taking at least one photo. It makes me concentrate on the “Big picture” ,observing all that occurs around me and simultaneously the small details, the colors and patterns that never cease to amaze me.
Photography and Video became an essential and important part of my work. I photograph the process of my work, the final outcome and sometimes I use it as a therapy tool when things get a little “crazy”…
