Cedarbrook is a family-owned campground located just west of downtown Lebanon, OH.

Appearance:

The campground is surprisingly wooded and pretty considering its proximity to town.  The campground has a variety of flower beds and flowering trees that make it especially inviting in the spring and summer. The campground is kept clean and there are numerous trash containers for campers to use that are emptied frequently.

A very nice distinction from other campgrounds in the area is that it is open year round – including the bath and shower houses. There is also a laundry facility.

There are 30/50 amp sites, tent sites, full hoop-up sites and 3 cabins, two bare bones and one deluxe ( none have bathrooms).  Every site has a fire ring and a well-constructed picnic table. There is a propane filling station and a well stocked camp store, especially with camping/RV supplies. Next to the camp store is a lounge that includes a wide-screen TV. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The tent sites are spacious.  Not only do they offer weekly rates, they also offer monthly rates and on-site RV storage. Some of the roads are cement and some are gravel.  The roads are certainly passable but may be due for some upgrading in the near future

Activities:

This campground offers a host of activities.  It is nearby Kings Island (the closest campground to the amusement park), very close to the Lebanon Horse Track, historic Golden Lamb restaurant, shops of downtown Lebanon, and only about 10 minutes off I-75 or I-71. While close to downtown, the campground is private and has shaded sites.

The campground offers several fun activities including a pig-roast in September, Chili Cook off, two Halloween weekends, to name a few.  Campers return for these events year after year and it is great to socialize with other campers.

There are no nearby hiking trails.

Pet/Family Friendly:

There is a good sized, fenced-in dog park.  It is a shady area that has benches, waste bags, and trash bins.  Each time we have visited Cedarbrook we have seen several families camping with dogs.

Within the campground there is a small but well maintained playground, swimming pool, and picnic shelter.
