THE LOVE/HATE LETTERS

There are 2 distinct parts to this prompt. You may approach each any way you choose, just make sure you are thinking, feeling, writing, using structure and proofreading your work before publishing. It’s your 4th post! Use the below informal letter model to format your post. Use 301 Robinson Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550 as your address .

Each letter is to be no fewer than 200 words in length.

This could be an idea, a place, a thing, a person, an act…a chronosynclastic infundibulum…it doesn’t matter. What matters is that the letter expresses why such a superlative feeling like love applies, how this love affects you, and why you truly appreciate the existence of the thing that elicits love.Image result for hate symbol

Second, write a short letter to someone or something you hate! The same requirements and expectations apply (i.e. what matters is that the letter expresses why such a superlative feeling like “hate” applies, how this hate affects you, how you rise above it, and why you truly wished the thing that elicits hate didn’t exist. Important Note: If you choose to write about “someone”, do not use their name…instead, refer to them in the second person (i.e. “you”). Remember, this is not about the “someone” more than the thoughts and feelings you have about the “someone.” The letter to this person is simply a vehicle for these thoughts and feelings.

I have written a “Love” and a “Hate” letter as models.
