Autism Matters Blog Hop

April 2 is National Autism Awareness Day!  Our group is featuring Autism colors of Blue, Red and Yellow.  I have a personal interest in Autism Month.  My 13 year old Great Grandson, Logan  is Autistic.  He is a wonderful child.  He is sweet, loving, thoughtful and loves helping.  I love his attitude and his approach to life in general.

Did you know that as early as infancy, a baby can begin to show the three hallmark features of autism: communication challenges, impaired social interactions, and repetitive behavior?   These characteristics and behaviors will follow this infant throughout his childhood into his adult years.

Please consider donating to this very worthwhile cause (a link to the donation site is below).  Advances are being made every day in caring and educating these children.  The Autism Society supports parents and facilities with Autistic children by providing Education, Advocacy, Referrals for services and promote research in Autism among many other thing.  To learn more click on the link above.

This card was created to exemplify hope, courage and especially celebrate life!  Colorful, vibrant and  exciting!  Logan is a star in my world and I am so happy and very proud  to be his Great Grandmother.  Here is my card for Logan.

All materials used in this card are from Stampin’ Up!  A list of the materials used are at the very bottom of this blog.
