weekly photo challenge: blur

Posted on

Most of our photos that are blurry, we delete straight away. So this challenge was hard for us but we managed to find one of the Xi’an wall.

Do you keep photos that are blurred?

Have a great weekend!

Feel free to drop us a line here.

Hmm… we are beginning to think we should keep them as we don’t know when we might need them from now 🙂

I do keep some blurry photos – I have some I really like.

Plus, that blur tool is my friend when it comes to editing Choppy photos. I take out all sorts of background noise using it.

Yeah, we’ve never really kept them intentionally because we are always trying to free up memory card space for more worthy photos … but thinking from now on, they are worth keeping 🙂

We always think we have enough?! But somehow eat through so many memory cards and sticks…. LOL!

I sometimes wonder how many I actually have – it is likely a number I don’t want to know!

Lovely shot of the Xi’an wall, Monkeys. I like the blur in this one. Sort of looks like the wall and lanterns are shivering in the cold 😀 I usually delete blur photos, unless I see something I like about it that I will keep it. And with so many editing apps these days, you can always make a blurry photo look better 😀

Wow – Never thought of the shivering wall or lanterns .. but that is a great tale to be told for this picture 😉

We are the same – we delete them to free up memory card space.. but beginning to think we should keep them all! Who knows when we might need them 🙂

Most get tossed. But occasionally I proclaim one ‘artistic.’ 🙂 –Curt

We’re beginning to think they are all worthy to keep as one day, we might proclaim them artistic and we will never know because they are gone 😉
Hope you had a lovely weekend!

I still have much video material bicycling the wall in xian. Back then we had blue sky but only because it has rained for several days before ( of course I got sunburned from that bicycle ride..)

Oooh, we would love to see that video, both of the bicycling and the blue sky 🙂
Blue sky in Xi’an… we didn’t see that when we were there. We didn’t see it in Beijing either. But everywhere else we saw it so we wonder if one day, they will all be the same??!

Blue sky is really rare, at least when I am in China but I also might just have bad luck

Guess it depends in China maybe too?? We were in Wutai Shan and the sky was beautifully clean and clear 🙂

The main problem in Xi’an is that it is surrounded by mountains on the south and west and east and from the north the air from the coal factories is coming over from Shanxi…

Ahhhh…. that makes plenty of sense… such a shame, all the air pollution 😦
