Eight Feet Tall

Bismillah.

Here I am
Revisiting a favourite dream.
The breadcrumbs lead
To fairytale happiness
And a gathering
Of people ecstatic.

We went away
Each our own way
To gather pearls
And diamonds.
Now the adventure
Has ended
Momentarily.

We are half-empty
Or half-full.
Perspectives
Cannot dictate
What we feel
For each heart.

Our hearts crave
To listen
To stories
Of cherished dreams.

The moment
I see you,
You, you and
You…
My heart dances.

Together
For a reason,
We are here again
To make
A patchwork quilt
To protect us all
And those in need.

And so
Here we are
Again.
Come join the gang.
Why hang around
With your dreams
All alone?

We are here
To build
Dreams upon dreams
Like sturdy layers
Of bricks
And fortify
Hearts.

You have wandered
Long enough.

Come and catch
Your breath.
Let us catch you
When you fall.
You Don’t have to
Hurt alone.

Now that you are
Here again.
