We love all things Italian – luxury, food, bread, coffee and definitely leather. Our Armadio bags are no exception to that! We typically wear our bags more than any other piece of clothing so before we considered Armadio, we wanted to make sure these bags were going to last and were versatile enough that they can be worn daily. {Spoiler Alert} They are.
Armadio bags are direct to consumer, which means that we as the consumer can get these bags without the retail markup we’d normally get if they sold them to a distributor and we purchased from there. So now we can get maximum luxury and minimum prices. Not only that, but Armadio is selective about the brands they feature which let’s me be confident I’m getting a quality piece. Their curated collection feature only bags crafted in Italy, by Italian Artisans, using exclusively Italian materials.
Now, I wouldn’t consider Chelsea and my style to be luxury Italian so we also needed to think about whether these would fit into our everyday American street style. The minimalism in each of our bags provides versatility so even if we got the same bag in a different color (which we did) then we can style it differently to fit in with our own individual tastes.
Augustina is the smaller version of the best-selling Augusta bag.
It’s crafted with thick Italian calfskin leather which makes it structured and resistant. An interior pocket allows you to keep your small essentials organized. You can adjust the strap to your shoulder or just wear it using the top handle. Full grain Tuscan Leather. Manufactured by hand. Made in Florence, Italy.
We both selected the “Augustina” bag. They were big enough that Chelsea can carry her class materials for when she’s running around campus, and I can carry my travel essentials when I’m going terminal-to-terminal in the airports. They were also small enough that they didn’t completely overpower our petite frames. The “Augustina” is the smaller version of the “Augusta” bag so if you’re looking for something slightly larger that’s a great option.
