Depressing day? How about some retail therapy? My new little painting, Saturday Shopping, describes the moment we women love; walking downtown, popping into stores with a girlfriend. Now, there may be MUCH more talking than actual purchasing, but let’s keep that to ourselves. Grab a girlfriend, grab an excuse (I need a new pair of shoes for ….whatever….), and get your chat on.
Retail Therapy exudes energy with bright pops of color. Two friends walk side by side, discussing >important< topics. Love the purses, shopping bags and the hair. Painted with watercolor and watercolor pencils on gesso-coated, recycled Plexiglas, this painting has been sprayed with varnish, it does not need to be framed behind glass.
