Forget Mariah Carey, The Band Perry and Usher, Justin Bieber went next level on Sunday by doing a holiday duet with none other than President Obama!
That’s right all you Beliebers out there, The Biebs is taking on all comers this holiday season following the release of Under the Mistletoe. This latest gig was part of the annual Christmas in Washington performance as Bieber appeared along with other celebrities including host Conan O’Brien and Jennifer Hudson.
At the conclusion of the event Obama gave a short thank you speech for the performance joking that O’Brien was the host of the best late night talk show on TBS. He added:
“So tonight let us all rededicate ourselves to each other, and in that spirit, from my family to yours: Happy holidays, merry Christmas, God bless you all.”
And then everyone joined in on, “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing.” Check it out here as we see Obama and Bieber rocking some serious star power:
Obama even got a shout out from the Biebs via Twitter. Justin wrote:
“Great night! President Obama is one cool Prez. He told me he was “chillin.” #PresidentialSWAG.”
Let’s just hope that Justin didn’t find himself underneath a mistletoe with Malia. Talk about your national scandal! Someone better call the secret service 🙂
