Video: MagicBand+ Interacting with Disney’s Fab 50 Statues in Epcot. We got over to Epcot yesterday and just happened to be wearing our new MagicBand +. We found out that some of the 50th Anniversary Gold Fab 50 Statues are now interacting with the new MB. Furthermore, we got a surprise when leaving Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind.
Each Statue we interacted with was not fully working, and bugs still need to be fixed. When it does actually start later this month we are sure it will all be working perfectly. The Fab 50 statues will have 3-4 sayings, plus a music track. We found the band vibrated on your wrist when you got about 10-15 feet away. Then when the band connected with the statue it shook again, then all we had to do was a wave. Check out the video below. Don’t mind the crazy waving, we are learning how this works.
