It’s Winston Churchill, you know? He said “Never give in” twice, but there wasn’t room.
Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never–in nothing, great or small, large or petty–never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
What a neat card, Annie! You inspired me to post one of my own, but I couldn’t think of anything to add to the standard greeting. I’ll undoubtedly think of something better later ;-)
I should have thought of this earlier. This card should be entitled “Season’s Beatings”. There is (or was) a fight promotion that put on an annual Saeson’s Beatings MMA card every December.

This looks like the last scene from a Kung Fu movie. Alternately it could be a cover on a video game: Jacques & Annie’s Punchout!

I know that’s a Churchill quote, but I think Vince Lombardi used it, too.

Are you sure that wasn’t “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing”?
