I’ve seen it all now…….

Is this really what our society has come to need?  Do we value actual connection to another living human being or are we content to fill our need for companionship with  something like this?  Is there a real need for this product, as  some in the article suggest?  Maybe it is just me or I am truly changing into my mother and grandmother’s generation.  But I guess I could see some people needing this product.  It’s probably the only action some CONS will ever see. – LOL

Have you seen the movie “Brainstorm”? If not it is about the development of a machine that can read and store the actual sensations someone feels during an occurrence.

Then someone else can be hooked up and they will feel everything the other felt.
They smell everything that other person smelled.
It is as if it was the person was actually the one who experienced it!

I at the time thought that would be the future of Porn.

LOL then there is B.O.B. something that no human male can actually compete with as to giving intense pleasure to a woman. We can jiggle our butts and shove batteries up there too.
But it just is not happening (yeah I am starting to be silly).

Men are more textual, but I never understood that phones sex thing until I had a prostitute talk her stuff to me. She was in jail and I guess she wanted to practice her talk. I saw a HBO special about the phone sex trade. The women that staffed the phone bank were hardly who the callers may have imagined.
Generally middle aged and looked more like a housewife then some young and sexy sprit.

There maybe some who will spend the money and buy one of those robots.
There are already sex dolls that are more life-like then this one but do not talk.
Costing a couple of thousand dollars which again would be silly to buy.

Why some one would buy either is odd in the sense that it really is not a woman.
But then there was the Stafford wives concept in thinking.

Both sexes have their substitute for a real person if desired.

It’s just one weird man in Nevada who got a booth at some adult goods expo.

One of the comments at slashdot.org had a link with pics. The Slashdot article thought it looked “creepy.”

I thought it looked like Inflatable Doll 2.0 (not that looks are everything! 🙂 ).

Good look with getting the $4000 price tag out of it. If the guy has a day job (engineer?), he should keep it.

    • This isn’t new. I saw an episode of Real Sex within the last couple of years that dealt with this exact product. And the guy does sell them and he makes a lot of money.

The doll itself is not half as scary as the thought that men would rather pay $4000 to have a doll made than try to work at a relationship with a real woman.

P.S. By the way, female sex robots isn’t exactly a new idea. Mad Magazine covered that one in “Blobs!,” a story of a future ultra-lazy society that relied on the machines for everything.

Too bad they were only half-right, as if anything we’ve put the machines in the hands of th slave-drivers, and us in the hands of the machines.

    Please see “Strange Days.”

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114558/

Illegal technology providing direct input to the brain of recorded experiences supplied by others.

  6. Maybe there are some guys who know they can’t work hard enough to be successful at a relationship? Or, they have themselves convinced of that. And if they’re thinking sex ALONE, they’re probably correct. If they are devoid of emotion or prefer to avoid emotions, they need to pluck down the dollars.

YUCK! I think I’ll just pass on this one.

A lot of money? Sorry, I don’t buy it.

With that kind of price tag, the income figures will be, well, inflated.

I expect he’ll be filing bankruptcy in the near future.

But I agree with your assessment of the product, and Bad Axe’s also.

An’t the internet wonderful? Since getting it I have learned of so many perversions and fetishes I had no idea were out there!

Of course many of them fall into the same category as I put Mountain Oysters.

I wonder just how drunk the first person was that stood behind a Bull and thought “Man them look tasty!”.

Over the edge: Women and bestiality! Many a hard up man must find it frustrating!
A woman and a dog…. A woman and a horse… if only these women and men could hook up there would be no need for a talking Robot! Heeeeeeeeeeeeee

Ya know, I get a little lonely sometimes, however, this machine is NOT on my radar!

Dang, after opening that link, I need a shower.

Well, I see I found something that took our minds off politics, if only for a few minutes.

When I saw this, my first reaction was like most of yours – YUCK.

But then I thought about a few of the CONS we’ve all tangled with, and I thought – maybe there is a market for this type of thing after all – LOL

This would be perfect for CONS:

The doll will never refute their lies with the actual facts.

The doll will make them feel like they are actually being listened to and valued for their expertise in any and all issues.

The doll will always have the same flat Stepford Wife look.

The doll will always be something a CON can just shove into the proverbial kitchen to stop her ‘yapping’.

Rule 34 of the Internet: if you can imagine it, there is a porn for it.
