Ghana’s premier rapper – Kwesi Arthur joins the list of Ghanaian rappers to have gained recognition with their musical ability to represent Ghana at the international level.
The Ground Up Chale crooner is the latest Ghanaian to represent Ghana in a BET Hip-Hop Cypher following Sarkodie in 2019 at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
Kwesi Arthur verse at the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2020 cypher carried a heavy message.
Known for his potent delivery, Arthur eulogized the late Thomas Sankara, talked about hustle and bustle in the city of Accra and his dream to put Ghana on the world map.
The reigning VGMA 2020 Rapper of the Year was featured alongside P-Kuttah (South Africa), Suspect 95 (Ivory Coast), Rosa Ree (Tanzania) and Elisabeth Ventura (Angola).
Many Ghanaians have also reacted to his delivery and praised him for his effortless flow.
