INDIANAPOLIS–Violent crime sometimes doesn’t stop for the extreme cold or the snow. A man was shot and killed on the south side of Indianapolis Tuesday morning.
As the red and blue police lights flashed on the snow, IMPD officers got to the common area of the Garfield Terrace Apartments on Shelby St. near Garfield Park, just after 3 a.m., to find a man dead. Officers haven’t given out his name, but they don’t think he lived at the apartments.
Witnesses told police they heard some kind of disturbance going on before the man was shot.
