Julianne Moore started her quest for ginger-colored stardom in the early 80s when she dabbled in off-Broadway theater. She has since earned her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, nabbed an Oscar for her work in the film "Still Alice" and has appeared in more than 60 feature films. Moore is also the author of "Freckleface Strawberry," a children's book -which later also inspired a musical with the same title about a "little girl who was just like everybody else- except for two things! She had red hair and freckles."

Conan has never been shy about embracing his red hair- the talk show host's logo for his late-night show is a fire-colored outline of his gingery locks. And Team Coco - while it started out as a way for fans to line up against Leno when the celeb snagged "The Tonight Show" gig from O'Brien in 2010 - has become a squad where redheads are championed and respected.

The 41-year-old actress may have turned heads as a bombshell receptionist on the 60s-inspired "Mad Men," but her scarlet locks look good in every decade. The natural blonde first went ginger at the age of 10 because she "was obsessed with 'Anne of Green Gables' and Ginger of 'Gilligan's Island,' and lusted for that red hair."

Ed Sheeran doesn’t like the way Twitter users think out loud.

In an interview with The Sun this week, the singer said that he’s “come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it,” citing hateful comments and tweets.

“The head-f–k for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much.”

Sheeran’s Twitter account will remain active, but only for announcements and auto-populated pictures from his Instagram.

The Twitter hiatus possibly came in response to the accusation last week that he didn’t perform live at a concert in the UK. His last Tweet without an Instagram link features Sheeran defending himself.

“Never thought I’d have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it’s a loop station, not a backing track. Please google x.”

He followed it with, “Anyway, great night, great atmosphere, family, friends, fun. Love you all x.”

As to why Sheeran gets tons of hate, he blames Lady Gaga fans, who he says misconstrued something he once said in a Beats One Radio interview in January.

“Lady Gaga’s fanbase read an interview in which they assumed I was talking about her and they all f–king hate. And it wasn’t anything to do with that at all.”

Plenty of Sheeran’s 19.2 million Twitter fans have defended Sheeran’s choice and shown support.

“Don’t leave Twitter, man,” said one simple tweet.

“We love you ed x don’t let the haters get you down #SheeriosLoveEd,” said another, using a fan hashtag.

Others, however, including “Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan, think Sheeran should suck it up.

The “Shape of You” singer says Lady Gaga fans send him a lot of hateful tweets.

“I get about 50,000 (nasty tweets), doesn’t ruin my day. I love it — especially when they can’t spell.”

Sheeran’s latest album, ” “, came out in March, and he’s currently on tour.
