The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that one person was seriously injured following a violent assault at a pool hall off of U.S. 41 in Fort Myers. The Fort Myers Fire Department and Lee County EMS responded to the call at the Miscue Lounge in Lee County at 3:01 a.m. Wednesday. LCSO responded to the location near the corner of Carrel Road and Cleveland Avenue. Yellow crime scene tape blocked the parking lot to the pool lounge, with around three LCSO deputy vehicles on the scene. Although the dynamics of the assault remain unclear, LCSO confirmed on Wednesday that one person was left seriously injured. Deputies detained one person. The investigation remains ongoing.
