Tips to Make the Most of Your Hotel Points
- Always remember that your points do have a cash value!!!
- Do your best to use your hotel points for stays that are super expensive to pay with your dinero. For example, using 50,000 Marriott points for a two-night stay that would cost you $500 in total makes sense!
- Try to avoid using your hotel points for stays that are cheaper to pay with your dinero than your points. Paying $100 for a one-night stay at a Hilton is better than using 30,000 Hilton points.
- Sometimes, it’s better to use your hotel points in situations where a) in an emergency b) you want to save money above all else c) no other hotel options exist d) your hotel points are about to expire!
