UEFA are set to approve the new format of the champions league starting from 24-25 season. Here’s all you need to know about the new Champions League model.

The competition would be more of a league model than a group system, the competition will also see an increase in the number of teams. Four teams will be added to the already 32 participating in the competition.

Of the four new spots available, two of them will go to teams that are ranked higher on the UEFA Co-efficient rankings and that have not qualified for the champions league via other possibilities.

One spot will go to the fifth best league in the world at that moment and the last spot will be awarded via Champions League qualification path.
