Even if your math is on point, it’s still hard to imagine that it has been 20 years since Souls of Mischief dropped their landmark single “93 ’til Infinity” and their classic debut of the same name. In honor of the milestone, the Oakland group is embarking on the Still Infinity tour.
The 50 city tour kicks off June 18 in Omaha, Neb. at the Waiting Room and hits locales like Cleveland, Chicago, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Dallas before wrapping up on and on August 25 in Eugene, Ore. at the Kaleidoscope Festival. Tajai, Opio, Phesto and A-Plus will be touring with a 7-piece band and will be performing the 93 Til Infinity album in its entirety.
Also, to commemorate the song’s 20th anniversary, Souls will be releasing a “93 ’til Infinity” remix with some all-star guest to be announced later. To top it all off, the collective is dropping a limited edition capsule collection with Ecko, which is also turning 20.
The entire Hieroglyphics collective (Souls of Mischief, Casual, Del the Funky Homosapien, Pep Love and Domino) is dropping a compilation album, The Kitchen, on July 16.
