Yesterday, we ran a story about the mysterious UK street artist that goes by the name of Banksy. After his work was spotted around New York City, we weren’t sure if he still was in town or jumped on the next train out of Penn Station.
It seems that the low level graffiti writers are hip to the game and know that Banksy’s work will get photographed and published all over the world…so a lot of youngin’s have been tagging up the Banksy’s pieces so they get some notice. Word to wise or not so wise, if you want to get some shine, create some original sh*t like our boy Banksy and stop trying to ride the tail feathers of a legend.
