General Hospital star Haley Pullos is facing serious charges after being involved in a near-fatal crash in April.
The actress has been charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 BAC or higher and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run, according to a new report from TMZ. She is also being sued by the driver she hit, who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
She has pled not guilty and a preliminary hearing has been set for next month.
Pullos’ car jumped over a Pasadena freeway barrier into oncoming traffic on April 29 in Pasadena, Calif., leading to a head-on collision with another car. The actress was arrested for felony DUI at the hospital. Edibles and mini bottles of tequila were reportedly found in her car by police, who determined that she had been driving under the influence.
The accident prompted Pullos to temporarily step away from her role in General Hospital, with Holiday Mia Kriegel filling in as the role of Molly Lansing-Davis. Kriegel, whose small-screen credits include roles on CBS’ Bull and TNT’s Animal Kingdom, made her first appearance on the ABC soap during the week of May 22.
The person suing her alleges that Pullos hit a firefighter at the scene who was assessing her injuries and shouted, ‘This is a $400 f****** shirt!’

I think that says everything about her if accurate.
I have no sympathy for drunk drivers. They don’t just put themselves in danger but they put innocent people in danger. I hope she can battle her demons, but she must serve prison time for this.
If she actually serves any time I will be shocked. Most likely will be a plea deal with monetary/probation and a lot of community service. At least that’s what I normally see happen. We’ll see how it plays out.
If this is her first felony offense, she might be able to get a plea deal where she has to go to a treatment program. I’m hoping it’s a good, long term, in patient treatment facility that actually has an intensive program with most “graduates” staying sober or low relapse rates. No Hollywood style 30 day spa/wellness detox center, she needs to do the work, hopefully this is offered and she accepts even if it’s a long stay.
She’s going to get sued in a civil case unless all parties can come to an agreement, she won’t get out of that.
Actions have consequences. I mean, what else is there to say?
What is it with people these days thinking it’s ok to drink and drive?!
I’m 37 and grew up with public service commercials about drunk driving. Pretty sure today is the same as yesterday.
I suspect this will not quite be a “temporary” recast. Miss Pullos will likely have her hands full with legal issues for the foreseeable future.
Thinking the same thing, which is sad as this actor was very good in the role. The recast is so-so.
Recasts really have it rough. With a new character people don’t have the comparison to lean on. When people are already used to a certain actor in a role and then along comes a recast fans are very judgmental because they have the original actor to compare to. Some recasts hit it out of the park and are accepted right away, as is/was the case with Kristina. Molly is forcing us to make a bit of an adjustment to our thinking but it will work out fine.
Haley has played Molly since she was so little, she grew up on the show. I remember her first scenes. She grew up on GH.
I swore off tequila years ago after overimbibing on the stuff and losing several hours of memory. But at least I still had the faculties at the time to avoid getting behind the wheel of an automobile.
Next up is a starring role in a California Corrections Facility’s production.
Stripes are the new Prada
She starring in a reboot of Orange is the New Black?
I hear she’s suing the Fire Department for the damage of her $400 blouse.
No excuse for it.
Driving under the influence is making the conscious decision that your comfort and convenience is more important than the lives of others. I’d even go so far as to say its far more egregious now than it was even just a decade ago, because of the prevalence of services like Uber or Lyft.
This is so disappointing.
Haley is one of the best young stars to come along on a soap in a long time. I was surprised she stayed on GH for as long as she did. Probably an ineffective agent.
Wishing the best for all impacted by this.
How the hell she pleading not guilty ??? 🤦🏻♀️
It’s the norm for first court appearances in felony cases. Neither the court nor the prosecutor’s office is going to hold it against a defendant that they don’t want to plead guilty on the first court date. She may or may not have an attorney. If she has an attorney, the attorney probably hasn’t had a chance to confer with the client, review discovery, etc. It’s all part of due process.
She most certainly has an attorney and has from the start. Her family is quite well off and I’m sure it was the attorney who advised her to enter the rehab center. That’s normally the first course of action in cases like this. She went to the Malibu treatment center, which is basically a clubhouse for celebrities facing substance abuse issues.
I remember her as a little girl on the show. People make unjustifiable mistakes – and DUI is so completely avoidable – I hope she learns from it. She’s damn lucky no one died but she better make the other person(s) as whole as possible.
She may get off if the cops didn’t take a BAC. From this article it says the cops saw edibles and mini bottles of tequila. If they didn’t test her, her attorneys can argue those were old. She may get a fine for have an open container is about all.
The article also mentions the charge requires a BAC of .08 or higher, so at some point she was tested.
Edibles and mini bottles of tequila were reportedly found in her car by police, who determined that she had been driving under the influence.
Or they assumed from what was in the car. She wasn’t arrested until the hospital. I know she’s guiltily and should be held accountable. Im just saying she might get away with it. Even if tested she’s entitled and privlaged and her lawyer will make some deal and she’ll probably at worse rehab and community service
It’s interesting to me that she pled “Not Guilty” – what does that tell you! Still not accepting responsibility for her actions or showing any kind of remorse.
Guaranteed she’s being advised by an attorney to do so. It’s a legal tactic used in most all cases like this. 99.9% sure there will be some sort of plea deal. Then we’ll see if she accepts responsibility for her actions. What she does after all this is resolved will speak volumes about whether or not she learned anything or just went through the motions to get it over with.
I wish Pullos could be held accountable to the most stringent level of the law. This entitled brat deserves neither empathy nor mercy – sentiments I’m sure the grievously injured driver of the other car would surely echo.
Everyone makes mistakes. Thank God no one was killed and hopefully she will learn from this. It is 100% wrong to drive while under the influence and 100% wrong to leave the scene of an accident but I think she needs help, not prison. Jmo I’ll be praying for everyone involved.
It very much upsets me that people are even allowed to plead not guilty when there is so much concrete evidence that she was drunk, not to mention the bottles and edibles in her vehicle. I really hope she is found guilty and punished to the fullest extent of the law
