WE'VE GOT LOTSA QUESTIONS!

Was Organized Crime Dinner Drama Delicious? Who in #OneChicago Will RSVP for Fire Wedding? Your Traitors Season 3 Wish List? And More TV Qs!

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Law & Order: Organized Crime, The Traitors, The Bachelor and Saturday Night Live!

| Did SNL overestimate how many average Americans had read about the (weirdly sexual) Dune 2 popcorn bucket? Can we all agree that Sarah Sherman’s C.J. Rossitano — the long-lost son that Colin Jost never knew he had! — was the best Weekend Update piece of the season? ▼ And while we “get” that choosing a fired almost-cast member to host is “noisy”-ish (well, for about 27 people), with alllll the talent available post-strikes, that’s who you pick?!

SNL

| If the Grammys need presenters Mark Ronson and Meryl Streep to explain to the audience the difference between Record of the Year and Album of the Year, is it perhaps time for the Recording Academy to rethink the names of some categories? Should CBS pay whatever he wants to sign Trevor Noah to a multi-year hosting deal? And while we appreciated the concept of having Stevie Wonder duet with the late Tony Bennett, wasn’t “The Best Is Yet to Come” an odd song choice to start the In Memoriam segment?

| The Way Home fans, are you getting the sense that the show is setting up a love triangle between Alice, new intern Casey and popular guy Noah?

| What was the cringiest part of Curb Your Enthusiasm’s premiere: Larry not letting the Brooke/Brookie thing go, or Michael Fouchay overhearing Larry talking smack?

| If Kunal Nayyar isn’t willing to reprise Raj in Max’s in-development Big Bang Theory spinoff, who would you like to see the show revolve around?

| How ridiculously blatant was the KFC product placement at The Bachelor‘s pool party? And has anyone ever talked more about not wanting to be involved in drama, and yet started more drama, than Sydney?

| TVLine reader/The Irrational viewer Steve asks: “Was I the only one hoping that Alec would start reciting the lyrics to ‘Seasons of Love’ during his voiceover at the end of [this week’s episode], as a nod to portrayer Jesse L. Martin’s character in Rent?”

| Did this week’s My Name Is Earl reunion reignite your desire for a wrap-up movie or revival season to tie up loose ends?

| After this week’s sleepover-centric Extended Family, are you kinda-sorta hoping the show goes the Everybody Loves Raymond route moving forward and relegates the kids to the background?

| On La Brea, how did Maya Schmidt’s military backup manage to sneak up on Gavin & Co. if they had arrived in that noisy Jeep? And where does that raft/giant alligator scene rank among the worst CGI of 2024 so far? (The water wasn’t even moving under the raft at one point!) ▼

| Does Criminal Minds: Evolution’s promotion of Ryan-James Hatanaka seem a bit… random? Like, sure, have Tyler Green pop up again, but as a series regular?

| Should we probably have guessed that Community: The Movie would take place at a class reunion, and be told from filmmaker Abed’s perspective?

| Now that The Traitors has been officially renewed, which reality-TV stars would you like to see enter Alan’s castle next season? Or would you rather see them mix some civilians in with the celebs again, like they did in Season 1? Any other Challenge fans disappointed that CT didn’t choose to save Trishelle from the traitors’ grasp? And for those of you who also watch Big Brother, did you get a chuckle out of Sandra calling her new alliance “The Leftovers”?

| If you weren’t already convinced that #PeakTV is dead, this oughta do the trick, right? ▼

| Chicago Fire fans, are you already preparing yourself for the no doubt powerful speech that Boden will give as Casey and Brett’s officiant? And do we think anyone from Med or P.D. will attend the wedding?

| Given that The Conners began with Roseanne overdosing on pain pills, wasn’t it a bit odd to have Jackie make such a flippant remark about having a previously unknown pill problem back when she was a trucker (circa Roseanne Season 4)? And has it occurred to any other Shameless fans — as it did for TVLine reader “Tams” — that now that Harris is taking over for Jackie at The Lunch Box, that not one, but two former Gallaghers are running restaurants in (or around) Chicago? ▼

| Do you wish that just once Abbott Elementary’s surprise cameos weren’t sports-related? Or do they still get you excited?

| Now that The Challenge’s Nurys has survived two incredibly difficult eliminations, is her winning the money the only acceptable ending? Is there anyone else you’re hoping becomes the New Champion?

| Why did Feud: Capote vs. the Swans build up the reveal of the guest of honor at Truman’s ball to be the biggest (!) thing (!!) ever (!!!) and then not show us the reactions of the swans that the author slighted?

| SVU fans: What do you think of Curry as the newest member of Benson’s squad?

| Wasn’t it odd that Law & Order: Organized Crime’s Stabler jealously marveled at Joe Jr’s ability to pick up both of the kids at once, given that Stabler himself had done the same thing a few minutes before? And wow, that family dinner at Elliot’s place really took a turn, didn’t it?
