The Pittsburgh Steelers along with their head coach Mike Tomlin on Sunday decided not to come out of the locker room before the national anthem. After that happened a white Pennsylvania fire chief, Paul Smith, went on social media to dish out racial slurs at Tomlin.

Smith called the Steelers head coach a, “no good n****r. Nearly two days according to Huffington Post, after writing that he regretted what he had said. Smith was embarrassed by the comments he made and later resigned from his position. He apologized for what he did, but many people from the town were outraged.
