Tis’ the season to be fabulous! Whether you’re keeping it cute on the family Zoom, styling for the ‘gram or celebrating with a very small group this Christmas (get tested and wear your masks), you’re going to need a beat face to get you through the slay…we mean day.

Resident celebrity makeup artist Anika Stewart is here to show us how to recreated this glam makeup look for the holidays in a simple tutorial.

As always, start off with a freshly washed, moisturized and primed face. (Try Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer $20 for a smooth and matte finish). Next, since we’re going full glam, apply a brightening concealer under your eye and all around the center of your face using your choice of applicator (Try L.A. Girl HB Pro Concealer $4.99). Use your fingers to apply foundation to the edge of your concealer to help blend.

Pro Tip: Using your finger ensures you don’t apply too much product.

Contour your face using a contour palate darker than your foundation to define areas like your cheekbones, nose and forehead. Contouring allows you to accentuate or certain areas on your face appear smaller. And now we blend. Blend. Blend. (Use a Beauty Blender $16

Bake your highlight and contour using a translucent powder (Mented Cosmetics $25). While your foundation is setting, fill in your eyebrows using a pencil or pot (Anastasia Beverly Hills ($21).

Since it’s the holidays, it’s the perfect time to get spicy and experiment with a cut crease. Start by applying a bronzer shade to the crease area of your lid.

Pro Tip: Define your cut crease using a brown lip liner.

Add even more drama by adding a smokey effect to your lower lash line. Add mascara or false lashes! Finish your look with blush, highlighter and bold red lip!

Happy Holidays!
