After 2 seasons, Sony Pictures has decided to end the Queen Latifah Show. The show has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award and even won a Daytime Emmy. A reason has not been given for the cancellation of the show, but it is most likely due to ratings. In a day and time when television programming is vast and varied, it can be a bit challenging to maintain the kind of numbers to sustain on a major network. But that being said, the vastness of other networks available may offer opportunities that could be a good look for the show. We could definitely see the Queen Latifah Show on WeTV, Lifetime or OWN.

The show was well received by viewers and Queen Latifah’s guests ranged from today’s top entertainers and celebrities to everyday people like the Golden Sisters and the latest subjects of viral videos. Here’s hoping the Queen Latifah Show finds another home soon.

She posted this letter to herself and her staff on her Facebook page:

Dear Dana,
