It was just a few short months ago that we were sharing the good news that “Bad Girls Club” alum Natalie Nunn and her husband Jacob Payne were expecting a child. There were few details but back in November, Nunn was more than three months pregnant and told Life & Style that both she and her husband were excited to become parents to either a mini Natalie or mini Jacob.

Sadly, Nunn confirmed in a recent interview with Oxygen that she and her husband lost the child.

Here’s what she had to say.

Oxygen: A lot of fans are wondering, are you pregnant?

Not currently. There were some complications with my first pregnancy.

Months after Nunn made the announcement, there were several photos of her in the gym losing weight. And her Instagram and Twitter followers began to wonder what was happening and even if she faked the pregnancy as a means to get attention.

Nunn says that wasn’t the case and explained, though she didn’t have to, why she waited to discuss this publicly.

I know a lot of fans were wondering about it, but I haven’t spoken about things because it’s been extremely hard. Hard times are best to share with family and loved ones when it’s new! I just want to respect my husband, and make sure that all the sad stuff that we went through is understood.

If you’ve never experienced a miscarriage it’s hard to imagine that type of loss and pain. But for those of you who have, it’s certainly not a topic that a lot of women are ready to talk about for some time afterward. I can’t imagine the pain of having to not only let family members know that you lost a child but also fans on social media. It’s quite a bit.

But in spite of the hardship, Nunn says both she and her husband have been dissuaded from trying for more children.

Yes, we are moving forward and doing things differently a second time. We are trying for a due date this year. This time, we’re hoping for twins!

Nunn also spoke about the type of mother she hopes to be.

I think I’ll be a really cool mom. We’ll probably take them to Jamaica in the summer, and Jacob and I are really into sports, so our kid will probably play sports. I’ll be the dopest, coolest soccer mom!

We’re really sorry to hear about this loss and hope she and her husband are blessed with a child in the near future.
