Sylvester Efeurhobo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Party, was slain in Delta State by gunmen who are reportedly professional killers.
PUNCH According to information obtained by Metro, the intruders who broke into the APC stalwart’s rural home in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the State, shot him dead.
According to reports, the deceased served as the chairman of the Achievers Group in Agbarho, a local APC support group.
As “a loyal party faithful, a brother and father, generous to the bone,” he was praised.
Since then, party supporters in the neighborhood have urged law enforcement, especially the police, to “weed out the hooligans and guarantee that justice takes its proper course in the matter.”
“The perpetrators should be brought to book, as we do mourn the deceased”, the party leaders stated.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer for Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the killing.
