Misfit has announced the Misfit Ray, its latest wearable with a stylish design designed to monitor your physical activities and sleep quality.
The Misfit Ray sports a different design compared to other fitness wearables as it has a cylindrical body instead of the usual rectangular or circular shape. It measures 12mm in diameter, 38mm long and weighs in at 8g. The body is made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum with a minimalist design which makes it attractive enough to be worn as a bracelet or pendant.
Inside its water-resistant (up to 50 meters) body is a single multicolor LED eye, 3-axis accelerometer, Bluetooth, vibration motor, and a user-replaceable battery that can last up to 6 months.
The Ray works in tandem with the Misfit app which is compatible with most iOS and Android devices, to monitor your steps, calories burned, distance traveled, sleep duration, and multiple activity types. It will also alert you of incoming calls or texts.
The Misfit Ray comes in Rose Gold and Carbon Black and is available for pre-order on misfit.com for $99.99.
