Dambai Lakeside Assemblyman Emmanuel Atali corroborated the conflict between the police and the teenager, stating that he heard a gunshot on Sunday at about 8:pm and discovered the dead lying in a pool of blood.

He stated that he went to the police station to file an official report, and the body was subsequently sent to Worawora Hospital for preservation.

He stated that Otumfuo's extensive experience on the throne, as well as his ability to manage and settle disagreements, make him an invaluable mentor to the Ga Mantse, who is fresh to the throne. Mr. Glover praised the Asantehene's generosity, noting that it is a great honour for the Ga state to welcome such a renowned guest. He believes that this visit would strengthen the connection between the two kingdoms, benefiting both sides. "Otumfuo has been on the throne; he has witnessed everything that goes into the chieftaincy, including how to organise people." How to resolve a quarrel. And I believe Nii Ga is only a few years away.

Titus Glover, Greater Accra Regional Minister, characterised Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s historic visit to Ga state on Sunday, June 9, 2024, as a testament to togetherness and conflict settlement.

The visit, which began with a special durbar hosted by the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, aims to foster friendship, collaboration, and community development between the two ancient kingdoms.

The visit follows Ga Mantse’s recent involvement in the 25th anniversary of Otumfuo’s accession to the throne and his 74th birthday celebrations.

In an interview with ChannelOne News, Mr Glover emphasised the value of friendship in chieftaincy and stated that the visit demonstrates the necessity of building unity and resolving problems.

“That means he has something he can learn from and Asantehene does not visit anywhere at a time. For him to take a step to visit you in your kingdom or state, it means he has valued that relationship.”

Zimbabwean Prophet banned from casinos for winning too much

Prophet Mutumwa defended his gains, stating that he used the money to pay some of his church members' school expenses and to provide start-up cash for their enterprises. He also defended gambling.

A Zimbabwean prophet who said God had given him the winning formula for casinos has been banned after earning $30,000.

Prophet Archbishop Emmanuel Mutumwa, leader of the Johanne Masowe eChishanu Apostolic Sect, commented on the ban, stating that the prize was the largest at a local casino.

“This is the largest win ever recorded at the casino. I nearly doubled the previous record, making it the largest prize won on the platform this year. My jubilation was cut short, however, because I had been blacklisted from other casinos for winning too much. They say that because I am a prophet, I have had visions from God concerning the winning numbers. They are afraid they would go bankrupt because I will win too often,” he stated.

Prophet Mutumwa defended his gains, stating that he used the money to pay some of his church members’ school expenses and to provide start-up cash for their enterprises.

He also defended gambling.

God operates in surprising ways. This triumph was a test of faith, not chance. I asked for wisdom, and the Lord revealed the figures in a vision. Isn’t it a privilege to use these riches to help my congregation? Gambling, when done correctly, maybe a source of good fortune that can be used to benefit others. Many individuals approach me for spiritual advice on how to win at lotteries, casinos, or sports betting. Interestingly, several of them have reported winning far more regularly after seeking my advice,” he stated.

A manager at a nearby casino stated that betting companies generally limit or shut accounts of customers who constantly win.

This strategy is intended to ensure the financial stability of the casinos.
