I have just been watching some videos on YouTube featuring a lady by the name of Candace Owens. I first came across her some time ago but she has since slipped my mind. Absolutely awesome is not too strong a description of this thirty-year-old from America’s black community. She came from a family with virtually nothing, and after her parents divorced, was brought up by her grandparents. Raised in Stamford Connecticut she graduated from Stamford High School.

In 2015 Candace was CEO of Degree 180, a marketing agency whose website included a blog which frequently posted anti-conservative and anti-Trump content. In 2017 she changed from being a liberal to a conservative on realising that liberals were actually the racists. Liberals were actually the trolls. By this time she had become known in conservative circles for her pro-Trump commentary and for criticising liberal rhetoric regarding structural racism, systemic inequality and identity politics. She launched Red Pill Black, a website and YouTube channel that promotes black conservatism in America.

In October 2018 Candace launched Blexit, a campaign to encourage African Americans to abandon the Democratic Party and register as Republicans. According to her a tidal wave has begun and she expects Trump to win big in 2020. In one of her tweets this week Candace said:

To socialists, the world is inherently evil and bigoted, and the only way to truly cleanse the world of injustice is to hand more power to the Government. If you think the Government is sitting on a magic utopian cure and they just need more money and power to implement it – you’re pretty dumb.

Videos on YouTube I would recommend are:

  • Candace Owens Full and Complete Testimony Hearing in Congress
  • Candace Owens on her journey from Left to Right
  • Candace Owens-The victim mentality of the Left.

She makes some interesting comments regarding reparations for past injustices and highlights what fools we are. If the comments to these videos are anything to go by we could be looking at a future President. I find it hard to disagree with her. If only our prime minister were half as intelligent.
