Jill, Jinger, and Anna Duggar Congratulate Michael Bates on Deciding to Go to Nursing School
She’s chasing her dreams! Bringing Up Bates fans who’ve been following the reality TV family may already know that oldest daughter Michael Bates has worked as an EMT in the past. Now, she’s taking her passion to the next level. On Tuesday, March 26, the UPtv star announced on the Instagram page that she shares with her husband that she’s moving to Tennessee — and it’s so that she can achieve her goal of going to nursing school. The best part? Her friends and family, including the Duggars, couldn’t be happier for her.
“Last fall, Brandon and I started seeking the Lord for direction, and praying about the possibility of nursing school for me. God has answered our prayers and guided us in very specific ways!” Michael wrote on the social media site. “To build on the college degree I currently have, Tennessee looked like the best and most affordable option for schooling. So… we are now in the process of moving to TN!”
She admitted that “it happened a little more suddenly than [they] were anticipating,” but it was exciting news. “The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity, filled with packing and moving many of our belongings,” she shared. “I plan to begin nursing school this fall! Thank you all so much for praying with us and for us as we begin this new adventure!”
Soon enough, the comments were flooded with well-wishes — including messages from Jill, Jinger and Anna Duggar. “Yay!!! Congrats!” Jill wrote with a heart. “Wow! So excited for you all!” added Jinger. Anna chimed in with, “So happy for you! Wish you were moving to Arkansas. 😉💞” Michael was grateful for everyone’s well wishes, but she showed a little extra love to Jinger, who recently announced a move of her own. “Thanks so much!” she wrote. “I’m really excited! We’ll be praying for you all as you move as well! ❤️”
On Monday, March 25, Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, announced on their blog that they’re moving to Los Angeles, California this summer. “In recent days, God has made it overwhelmingly clear to us that he is leading us out of Laredo,” they shared on their family’s blog. “Through much prayer and counsel, the next step for our family is to relocate to Los Angeles to attend Grace Community Church as Jeremy pursues graduate studies at The Master’s Seminary. As excited as we are to begin this new adventure, leaving Laredo this July will be one of the hardest things we’ve ever done; our friends here have become like family. Please pray for us as we open this new chapter of our lives.”
