Statistics for the period 1 to 20 October indicate that UKSC Blog has had 18,224 hits from 3,108 separate IP addresses, a figure which is growing daily.
Our readers have come from as far afield as Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, and the Solomon Islands, amongst other jurisdictions. The first circulation figures for any publication are a moment of some anxiety, but UKSC Blog is delighted to have earned such a broad readership in its young life. However, we will not be resting on our laurels – our goal is to see this figure at least tripled by the end of the year.
In addition to the wide readership we are happy to say that we have now made it onto Wikipedia and that links to our blog have been included on a number of other legal blogs including, cearta.ie, Binary Law, the smart e-discovery blog, Concurring Opinions, Bankruptcy Insolvency and Corporate Rescue and Publierecht & Politiek. We are also easily accessible via google – searching globally for “Supreme Court blog” returns ukscblog.com as the fourth most popular link from 28,300,000 results, following from our friends at Scotusblog in America and two other US sites. Searching for “UK Supreme Court blog” will return UKSC Blog in first place.
